Do You Know Agraria?

Agraria is the oldest and largest luxury home fragrance company in the U.S. Their first store opened in San Francisco in 1970 and now there are stores all over California, and the world. At least that's what I learn on their Web page. Some of their products also are available at Neiman Marcus and Saks and perhaps some other high end department stores.

I know that their candles are heavenly. I discovered them many years ago, and am now more often without one than with one, but when I think scented candle I think Agraria Balsam, their original product. The line has expanded and there are many more scents and product choices now. I’ve tried both the Bitter Orange potpourri and candle, very nice scent and beautiful as well. Their packaging is top rate. You’d be happy to give an Agraria product as a gift.

Or you could just buy the refresher oil (less expensive) and add to your unscented candle or bowl of potpourri, or candle ring, or.....well, the possibilities are endless (your handkerchief? heating/cooling air filter? simmering pot?)

Bitter Orange Potpourri Refresher Oil

A few weeks ago I was making a quick run to T. J. Max and found this: The Bitter Orange Individual Petite Essence. The regular price is $45; I bought it for $10. You can be sure I'll be checking out the assorted fragrance shelf in that store quite regularly.
So there you have it. My take on the best scent for your home. If you see me in T.J Max, I'll be the one elbowing my way through the crowds in wild pursuit of hopefully finding more Agraria.
Have a great weekend. Mine is to be a four-day weekend beginning tomorrow and continuing Monday through President's Day. We will be having the kids home so there'll be lots of cooking, eating, visiting and the like. I'll catch you next week.
