    1. Those are all great things you mention, especially the sunshine, which we all need more of right now. But of course when that sunshine means 98 degrees F., we tend to hide from it!

  2. What a lovely list of beauties, Sanda. I love every one of them, especially that pretty cake. What do I like to see? Birds of all kinds, flowers in the garden, beautiful fabrics, anything French, the open countryside and my grandchildren!

    1. I'd love to sink my teeth into that pretty cake! A great list, Patricia, and you won't have to wait too long now to see those grandchildren!

  3. You have lots of interesting things.
I especially like the picture of the dog & puppies, the umbrella lights and the rainbow.
    What more to add?
    Depends on my mood.

    1. But I know you'd always have horses and dogs on your list! Our moods are often a determinant of what makes us happy!

    1. I love that little song from "The Sound of Music." I'm like that too: I hear a song title mentioned and it's on my mind for days at times.

  5. I love that dog picture! I like kaleidoscopes too, but didn't know they would make such a fabulous picture. I've never seen a firefly, but now that I'm in Oklahoma, hope to soon. Cool list!

    1. If you haven't seen fireflies, you are in for quite a treat. We called them "lightening bugs" when we were kids and captured them in fruit jars. We would release them after we watched them for a while. Hope you see them in Oklahoma! At dusk, you can sit and watch them gradually rise from the ground, where they hang out during daylight hours.

  6. Love your list - so you - the kaleidoscope, bubbles (remember how you loved the bubble stuff as a child) hot air ballons, hats, pearls, kites, umbrellas - all so indicative of your personality and somewhat free spirit. And the doggies and kitties that show your kind, loving side.

    1. I still love that bubble solution and still buy it. It's fun to watch the dogs chase the bubbles. They are so pretty in the sunlight.

  7. I've been trying to get my hands on a real kaleidoscope, the kind I had as a child. Such a nostalgic piece. I love all the things on your list and would add: snow globes, Christmas ornaments; English roses; coffee and tea; wicker furniture and old postcards

    1. Kaleidoscopes just fascinate me. I want one that looks like the one I pictured. Your list of favorite things is very nice. Coffee and tea, yes!
