Located on the waterfront, the resort consists 400 woodland acres. The resort wanders along a pine and hardwood covered peninsula where the mouth of Town Creek joins the Tennessee River at Wilson Lake.
Rustic split-level cottages, privately owned, are available for rental. The cottages feature exposed beams inside and log columns on the porch.
This was a perfect ladies get-away for a few days. Although our group was smaller this year than in the past, the five of us had a tremendous time.

It looks like you're having a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. How fun to get together with cousins. Love that stack of boxes.
ReplyDeleteHi Beryl,
DeleteI have never seen so many matching boxes in one place; believe there were 10 in graduated sizes. We had a great time!
It looks idyllic Sanda, the perfect girly getaway. Love the cabin, and its rustic details. I'm sure you are having the best time!
ReplyDeleteGirlie getaways are a necessity from time to time. Restores the soul. The place we went is so calming and peaceful. It's no wonder we return each year.
DeleteThat seems like my perfect spot. Hope you are having an absolutely wonderful time. Well deserved...
ReplyDeleteEach year we say "if only we could live here." That's how much we love the place. It's particularly beautiful in autumn.
DeleteThank you for sharing the lovely, beautiful and happy pictures from your getaway trip!
ReplyDeleteI was so exhausted last night upon my return home that I didn't have many words so say, because we all had talked so much for three days. But I thought the photos could just as well express the story.
DeleteWhat a great spot for your get together. Sounds like something you have been doing with family for some time. I think it is a terrific tradition.

We are determined not to let these fall "reunions" end. All of us look forward to them each year. Not everyone can make it each year, as can be expected, but so long as at least two of us can attend, we are going to continue!
DeleteThanks for the wonderful shots of the lake and cabin. It was a wonderful weekend and hope the tradition goes on! Great food and wonderful friendship and conversation.
