Simple Christmas Decorations
I wanted a rustic, outdoorsy look look for the sunroom tree so I used a skinny little artificial number mounted on a wood base. I placed it on the wicker coffee table.
The tree's only adornments are garlic chive seed pods cut from the garden.
Christmas decorations in the dining room are my favorites. On top of the buffet sideboard I placed white fairy lights around the Waterford Crystal decanter and sherry glasses. I added a bit of bling with a red and gold garland and finished with holly leaves and berries from the garden.
The front door wreath may (no, make that WILL) get reworked, as I'm not altogether pleased with the look. I may make a new bow, as I don't think the solid red works well here.
Still to come is the artificial prelighted Christmas tree, which will be placed in the living room, but this year without all the packed-away ornaments.
Have you started decorating your house and garden for Christmas? If so, what have you done? Thanks for sharing.
